We are looking for an accomplished and passionate Java Full Stack Developer to join our cyber intelligence team in India. You will have an opportunity to participate in developing state-of-the-art security technologies, and benefit from high-level involvement in major projects that will significantly contribute to making our world safer and more secure.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Function as a major part of a cross-functional, high performing, global development team.
- Responsible for development and support of a core application of a complex product solution.
- Build, design and develop Java components in a desktop/cloud native system, with a focus on quality, performance, high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems.
For that mission you’ll need:
- BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in full-stack software development of high-performance complex systems.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Java ecosystem (with emphasis on Java 8 and 21).
- Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat 8 (or newer) and/or JBoss 3 (or newer).
- Strong knowledge and experience with Web Sockets/REST/SOAP.
- Experience with concepts such as multithreading, profiling and application servers.
- Experience with Relational Databases (CRUD operations, Joins, etc.).
- Experience with software deployment containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Scripting experience (Shell, Powershell, Python).
- Experience with web development technologies, preferably Angular and NodeJS, but JavaScript, TypeScript, React are also considered a Plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
An Advantage
- Experience with desktop-based C# applications (and frameworks like WPF, WinForms).
- CI/CD knowledge with hands-on experience in tools like: Jenkins, Maven/ANT.
- Oracle OCA/OCP Certification (Java 8 or above).
