Full Stack Developer (Java Backend & UI Development) Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend engineering and modern UI development to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building production-grade software solutions using Java-based technologies, cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and modern front-end frameworks. This role requires collaboration across product, business, and engineering teams in an Agile environment to drive innovative solutions from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications with a strong focus on backend services and user interface development.
• Contribute directly to bringing software solutions to production by participating in architecture, development, deployment, and support activities.
• Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and related technologies.
• Develop intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern UI frameworks and technologies.
• Design and implement cloud-native applications leveraging microservices, containerization, orchestration, and distributed system patterns.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement robust solutions to improve system stability and performance.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and software engineering principles.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployment processes.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java development with proven experience in building and publishing production-ready applications.
• Experience developing modern web applications using front-end technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services with user interfaces.
• Experience with distributed software architecture patterns, including:
  • Microservices
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Streaming platforms
  • Containerization (Docker)
  • Orchestration technologies (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Experience with one or more public cloud platforms:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience developing cloud-native solutions and solving complex technical problems in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with source control and collaboration tools including:
  • Git/Bitbucket
  • Jira
  • Confluence
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Python development for backend services, automation, or data-driven applications.
• Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Event Hubs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting applications deployed across multiple cloud platforms.
