Translates business requirements into workflows, automations, dashboards, ticketing systems, and integrations with HR, Finance, and SAP applications. Develops system architecture documentation, APIs, governance standards, and migration processes. Partners with stakeholders across international teams, provides technical guidance, and supports continuous platform improvement, change management, releases, and environment management.
Jira Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Atlassian products to support enterprise workflows
- Translate business and user requirements into effective system configurations, automations, and dashboards
- Ability to work with HR, Finance and other support functions to develop and deploy suitable ticketing solutions for their functional areas.
- Lead the design for integrations and APIs to/from existing HR, Finance and other support applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, blueprints, and standards
- Partner with product owners, project managers, and technical leads to gather and refine system requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on Atlassian capabilities, industry best practices, and governance frameworks
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work on an international team in different timezones and often competing priorities.
- Work in an iterative way with the business stakeholders to agree, develop and document solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on platform strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
