About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in handling accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in entries
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Support the preparation of financial reports and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
- Assist with audits and other financial assessments
- Maintain organized records and documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a night shift
