About the Job
We are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst (Manual Testing) responsible for executing system testing on websites, mobile applications, and web-based platforms.
The QA Analyst will work closely with the development team and business units to validate requirements, execute test cases, and ensure high-quality deliverables. This role focuses on manual testing processes to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of software products.
Responsibilities:
- Review functional and design specifications to understand project requirements.
- Create and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects clearly.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Validate that deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
- Reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure resolution quality.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve defects efficiently.
- Maintain test documentation including test cases, test data, and reports.
- Participate in test planning and review sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Identify potential quality risks and escalate them proactively.
- Ensure timely execution of test cycles and meet project deadlines.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience in writing clear and structured test cases and bug reports.
- Basic understanding of databases, debugging, and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
