About the role:
As a Junior Software Engineer (Frontend – ReactJS), you will be an integral part of this transformation, solving challenging business problems and building highly scalable, performant, and user-friendly web applications.
- Reporting into the Lead Engineer, you will be required to develop modern and responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and associated technologies, assist the engineering team in problem resolution by hands-on participation, and effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
- You will write clean, reusable, and efficient code based on product requirements, create automated tests, contribute to system testing, and follow an agile mode of development.
- You will collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements and expectations, while applying the latest frontend tools and technologies.
- Develop scalable, responsive, and accessible UI components, integrate them with REST APIs, create automated UI tests, contribute to system testing, and work within an agile delivery framework.
We are looking for someone who can design, document, and implement new frontend systems, as well as enhancements and modifications to existing applications, with code that complies with design specifications, accessibility standards, and ReactJS best practices.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using ReactJS (v16+), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Strong experience in state management (Redux or Context API) and component-driven development.
- API-driven development – experience working with remote data via REST and JSON and delivering high-value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using tools such as JIRA.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with frontend performance optimization, code-splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Experience with GitHub, Docker (for frontend builds), AWS S3/CloudFront, and CI/CD pipelines.
