We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive the architecture, design, and development of cutting-edge Analytics & AI within Nokia's Autonomous Networks product portfolio. This role is pivotal in leveraging cloud-native technologies to build scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions that enhance network automation and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, foster innovation, and ensure the integration of advanced data-driven insights into our next-generation autonomous network products.
This role will be part of the new MI Autonomous Networks organization.
Technical Leadership & Architecture:
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for Telemetry, AI/ML, and AI Ops needs within the Autonomous Networks product suite, ensuring alignment with Nokia's overall cloud-native software platform strategy.
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions for data ingestion, processing, analysis, and AI model deployment.
- Ensure the security, performance, and future-proofing of the components to meet evolving industry standards and customer needs.
Product Development & Innovation:
- Drive innovation by integrating emerging cloud-native technologies, open-source solutions and advanced AI/ML techniques to enhance product capabilities.
- Champion best practices in agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and high-quality delivery.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team in India, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
- Facilitate talent development and retention within the team, promoting skill growth in cloud-native, AI/ML, and 5G domains.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with product management, other R&D teams, and external stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical specifications and deliver impactful solutions.
- Engage with internal and external customers to understand their needs and ensure the developed solutions meet market demands and provide significant value.
- Represent the team's technical capabilities and contributions in various forums.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a technical leadership or architect role.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale, distributed software systems, preferably in the telecommunications or networking domain.
- Demonstrated expertise in following domains: Network Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, AI Operations (AIOps) & 5G.
- Strong track record of working with cloud-native technologies and architectures.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and driving engineering excellence through agile and DevOps practices.
Technical Skills:
- Cloud-Native Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Open-Source Integration: Proficiency in leveraging open-source technologies, particularly Kubernetes, for managing the lifecycle, deployment, and scaling of containerized applications.
- Data & AI/ML: Experience with big data technologies, data analytics platforms, machine learning frameworks and MLOps practices.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Strong knowledge and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps best practices.
- Networking: Familiarity with 5G architecture, network functions virtualization (NFV), software-defined networking (SDN), and autonomous networks concepts.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java).

- Exceptional technical leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive complex technical decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
