What will you do? What are we looking for?
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications within the LivePerson platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services to enhance platform capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development and conversational AI.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases and effective test automation.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and development strategy of the LivePerson platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience in software development, with expertise in one or more of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including REST APIs, HTTP, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or similar) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Express.js).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with AI and NLP (Natural Language Processing) technologies.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms (SMS, chatbots, in-app messaging).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations.
