As a CAD Application Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our CAD systems meet the needs of our engineering teams. You will work to build, customize, and optimize CAD software, offering technical support and training to end-users to ensure efficiency and competency in the design processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and optimize CAD software systems
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements
- Develop and update CAD tool documentation
- Ensure compatibility and integration with other engineering software
- Conduct training sessions for CAD users
- Stay updated on the latest CAD software advancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve CAD-related issues promptly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and training abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of successful CAD software optimization
