Role Overview:
The Lead IT Business Analyst, LRC will collaborate with the Supply Chain and Commercial leaders as well as product owners to define, justify, and deliver IT Services and Investments that enable achievement of short and long-term business objectives and advance the company’s capabilities to provide competitive advantage, while effectively leveraging the broader IT community of internal and external providers to successfully deliver those Services and Investments. Typical responsibilities may include providing input to strategic direction, facilitating the process to collect and define requirements for LRC applications and business processes, providing expert advice and recommendations on industry trends and best practices, contributing to the development of roadmaps to achieve the long and short-term capability needs of the Supply Chain and Commercial businesses, and performing analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements and/or calculate cost/benefit data. The position reports to the IT Director, LRC and has a high level of autonomy to manage, lead, and deliver activity with business stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. Transparently works across business and IT communities to build focused teams with the right skills and leadership.
Responsibilities: (Please specify % amount against each responsibility)
- (25%) Provides business analysis and requirements management in support of Supply Chain and Commercial business processes
- (20%) Elicit, define, analyze, and document testable business requirements, liaising with customers end users and the IT team.
- 15%) Leverage strong communication and analytical skills, business relationships, and business process expertise to understand, document, assess, and drive business change needs to accelerate process enhancement and business growth.
- 10%) Drives re-use of existing solution capability or introduction of new technology to achieve program or project objectives.
(10%) Works independently and simultaneously on multiple projects with various subject matter experts to understand current business process landscape, enterprise alignment, and growth.
- 10%) Achieve high stakeholder satisfaction and engagement levels across various levels of leadership within the organization.
(10%) Ensure the continued high-quality delivery of end-to-end business change including change management, service design and the ability to continually enhance and improve existing capabilities while adding new capabilities
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid)
Education:
-Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
Licenses/ Certifications:
-Certification in Business Analysis preferred
-Agile certification a plus
Experience:
-7-10 years of relevant technical or business work experience with at least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
-3+ years of experience working with supply chain or inventory management systems
-Experience in gathering requirements and writing user stories
-Experience with regulated industry is preferred (SOX, GxP, HIPAA)
-Experience with SAP ERP systems is preferred
-Experience with ETL practices and query languages such as SQL preferred
-Experience working with Agile delivery and leading resources that are part of an Agile team
