What's the role?
In this role you will:
- Work with all interested people to define test aims, identify test scenarios, and develop test plans. Do an analysis of needs, user stories, and business processes to create test cases and decide on appropriate respones.
- Use writing languages such as Apex, Java, or Python to develop automatic test scripts. Use automatic systems to communicate with Salesforce objects, APIs, and user connections to copy user actions and check application behaviour.
- Run automatic test scripts, analyse test results, and report errors. Monitor test runs, capture and document test failures, and work with the development team to address and solve issues.
- Make sure that the relevant and reliable test data is available for automatic tests. Design and manage sets of test data, making sure that data used during testing is accurate and consistent.
- Perform regression testing to make sure that existing uses work as expected after adding new features or improvements. Update and maintain groups of automatic regression tests to check that the Salesforce application is secure and valid.
- Make sure that Salesforce applications stay secure and of high quality.
Who are you?
As a suitable candiate candidate you have a hands-on pragmatic approach combined with an analytical mindset built on a solid theoretical basis. You like to take initiative and work independently against agreed targets and organize your work with little direction. In addition you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar t echnical degree
- Eight to twelve years of overall working experience in industry.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX and automated testing within Salesforce environments.
- Proficiency in designing, executing, and managing test cases, test plans, and quality metrics for enterprise applications.
- Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
- Solid scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in bug tracking and reporting tools, version control systems (e.g., Git/SVN), and API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with performance/load testing and knowledge of compliance testing frameworks.
