As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Asset and Wealth Management, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities

• Demonstrate experience in working with and influencing senior business and technology partners
• Capably to work in a collaborative environment and coach other team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns that lead to high-quality maintainable solutions. Design and Development of key functionality within the application
• Carry out design reviews/code reviews at agreed points throughout the project life cycle. Work closely with the product team to understand the business requirements and user acceptance testing teams to support during UAT phase.
• Engage on design and development of technical artifacts. Participate in technical and design reviews and define/Improve processes with in the project by proposing innovative solutions.
• Communication and Inter-personal skills, both with business customers and with fellow IT professionals (Business Analysts, Project Managers and Developers).
• Problem-solving skills . Ability to multi-task.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Strong skills around object oriented analysis and design (OOAD), data structures, algorithms, design patterns
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Key technologies Java (SpringBoot, Dropwizard or equivalent framework), Spring Boot, Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes) and OracleDB.
• Proficient in a front end technology either React, Angular, NodeJS, or other Web frameworks.
• Hands on experience in Microservices, RESTful webservices development and WebSockets.
• Experience with messaging and integration frameworks like JMS, RabbitMQ, AMQP, MQ, Kafka .Experience developing with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Karma, Protractor, Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Experience with JDBC/JPBA frameworks such as Hibernate or MyBatis.
• Thorough understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and Development methodologies including Agile.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Sybase and Oracle, NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, and tools such as Apache Spark. Command of architecture, design, and business processes
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills. Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to manage relationships with Business stakeholders. Organize and prioritize within complex delivery programs. Proficient in any public Cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP and private cloud(Cloud Foundry)
