Job responsibilities
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develop secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Use APIs and SDKs for both niche solutions as well as open standards
- Drive quality and efficiency of the software development lifecycle
- Set high technical standards for team
- Lead evaluation sessions with appropriate teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Expertise in application and data architecture disciplines
- Application development using Java Spring/Spring Boot in micro services application
- Experience using Relational /NoSQL database related implementation such as MySQL, Cockroach DB.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Ability to work collaboratively in local and global teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficiency in NodeJs, React
- Practical cloud native experience with stack including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry best practices
- Ability to drive requirement refinement with product and stakeholders
