We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Python) to join our Policy Automation team in India. You will build the backend for end-to-end data automation solutions, working on APIs, rule engines, and cloud-native pipelines that help clients in the Intellectual Property industry with data collection, workflow automation, and research analysis.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of experience as a Python Developer with team leadership experience
Strong Python development skills on Linux with massive parallelization
Hands-on experience with cloud-native data pipelines and AWS services (S3, ECS, EC2, SQS, SNS, SES)
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (AWS preferred) and ETL technologies
Experience developing and debugging Python libraries
Proven ability to deliver scalable solutions in Agile environments with geographically distributed teams
It would be great if you also have:
Experience with workflow automation systems and large-volume data processing

Lead design, architecture, and implementation of backend systems and data pipelines
Build, test, and maintain scalable Python scripts
Integrate data storage solutions and optimize ETL pipelines
Automate tests, debug applications, and create technical documentation
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
Assess and prioritize feature requests, proposing technical improvements and best practices

Our Policy Automation team works on data entry platforms and workflow automation tools, supporting clients in the Intellectual Property industry. You’ll collaborate across locations in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, owning features and contributing to impactful projects.
