The Role: Lead Software Development Engineer in Test is responsible for ensuring quality across mobile applications, with focus on system integration testing, release validation, and leveraging automation to improve testing efficiency.
Your Contribution:
Lead end-to-end system testing automation across iOS and Android platforms
Own release quality validation and sign-off for mobile app releases
Design and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile apps for configuration of Logitech hardware devices
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and release testing
Collaborate with development teams and QA teams to identify, reproduce, and verify complex system-level issues
Establish and improve release readiness criteria and quality metrics
Perform integration testing between mobile apps and Logitech hardware devices
Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and release notes
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies
Mentor junior QA engineers on testing best practices and system architecture
Your Qualifications and Skills:
7+ years in software quality assurance or test engineering
Experience in automation testing
Strong experience in system testing, integration testing, and release management
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C++) for test automation
Strong software engineering foundations, and experience in writing software, supporting tools, services
Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools (Appium, Xamarin, Salesforce, etc))
Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
Experience testing mobile applications and device connectivity (Bluetooth, USB) a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical teams
Leadership skills to guide and mentor the QA team
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage testing priorities
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
