What’s the Role?

Full-time job to work with Exusia's clients to design and build Java based applications both on premise and on Cloud platforms. The role will be part of the end-to-end project life cycle and will participate in gathering functional requirements of business, understand the technical requirements by working with Exusia’s Solution Architects and Senior Application Designers. As a test automation lead, you will play an important role in ensuring efficient and quick feedback loops on software quality of releases. Your role will be to implement a test automation strategy - design and manage test packs and automate them manage, monitor and improve the infrastructure together with a team of automation engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

·            Actively working on test automation projects with hands on coding skills in Java.

·            Best in Core Java raising hands, asking questions, being expressive, outgoing person Basics of QA process and Scrum Backend skills are very important  SQL queries

·            Troubleshooting with SQL Mathematical skills to validate calculations Jira Run batch jobs Copilot (nice to have) API Testing (nice to have) Cucumber Selenium  Karate Java secure channel

·            Proficiency in Playwright for cross-browser web automation testing. CI/CD, Specifically GitLab: In-depth knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with a focus on GitLab.

·            Programs, configures, and integrates new technology into an existing system and / or application.

·            Work collaboratively with Agile team & write well designed, testable, efficient automation testing code.

Mandatory Skills

·            Strong knowledge of automation and willing to perform manual testing.

·            Excellent knowledge on API automation framework.

·            Experience with BDD design patterns (Cucumber, Karate).

·            Knowledge on Web UI automation.

·            Knowledge on version control tools (Git)

·            Knowledge on Jenkins.

·            Familiarity with some AWS cloud technology.

·            Java coding should be strong

·            Good Database exposure to build data centric applications

·            Good SQL skills and experience integrating web applications with databases

·            Exposure to DevOps tools and Agile development methodology, Able to contribute in a collaborative development environment

·            Good understanding of implementing security including Authentication & Authorization for Web apps

·            Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to work directly with end users

Nice-to-Have Skills

·       Able to design automation test framework/utility classes as per requirement

·       Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

·       Understanding of cloud testing strategies and tools.

·       Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud native services will be an added advantage

·       Exposure to Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) tools – Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, etc.

·       Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, Webhooks)

·       Test Driven Development, Junit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor
