What you will do
The Business Data Analyst is accountable for turning marketing performance data into clarity, insight, and action across Trilliad’s Marketing-as-a-Service (MaaS) client engagements. This role exists to ensure that performance is not just reported—but understood. Sitting at the intersection of data and delivery, this role translates raw metrics into meaningful narratives that help clients and internal teams understand what changed, why it matters, and what to do next. The Business Data Analyst brings rigor to reporting, simplifies complexity, and surfaces early signals that shape smarter decisions across channels and initiatives.
Which means that on a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Own performance reporting across MaaS client engagements
- Translate multi-channel data into clear insights and practical recommendations
- Maintain accurate, reliable dashboards that teams and clients can trust
- Identify trends, anomalies, and leading indicators worth attention
- Connect performance insights to execution in order to enable optimal decisions
- Pull and validate weekly and monthly performance data across paid, web, email, content, and ABM channels
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards that provide clear visibility into performance
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency before insights are shared with clients or teams
- Summarize performance trends in plain, everyday language—avoiding jargon or unnecessary complexity
- Highlight what changed, why it matters, and what actions should follow
- Identify anomalies, early signals, or performance shifts and flag them proactively
- Partner closely with paid media, web, content, and analytics teammates to connect insights to execution
- Automate reporting processes where possible to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
How you’ll do it
Because how we do things matters just as much as what we do at Trilliad, our Leadership Principles should act as a compass directing the everyday behavior of every teammate across the organization:
- Growth Obsessed. For our business, our clients, and our Selves.
- Business is Personal.Cultivate relationships. Make space for connection. Care about each other.
- Strategy Without Execution Is Just Dreaming.Hope is not a strategy. Vision matters—so does execution.
- Be One Team.No lone wolves. Have each other’s back and help each other out.
- Raise The Bar.Good is the enemy of great. Better never stops. Be a Difference-Maker.
- Confusion Is a Choice.Stay curious—Seek to understand. Share context—seek to be understood.
- The Journey Matters.Meaningful work takes time. Be patient. Think: the next 90 days and the next 10 years.
- Create Client Value. Become irreplaceable.
- Lighten-Up.Humor and laughter deepen bonds.
- Tighten-Up.Focus, discipline, and rigor count.
- You Have the Ball.Be accountable. Take action. Go the distance.
- Run Towards Problems. We don’t sweep things under the rug. Symptoms signal deeper causes. Find the root.
- Have the Hard Conversation.Be direct and empathetic. Speak the truth, kindly. Feedback is a gift.
- Celebrate Results.Make recognizing greatness a habit.
- Think “We” Not “Me.”Prioritize what’s best for the business, the team, and the journey.
