Job Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of exp in mainframe domain
Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
Experience working with Mainframe z/OS operating system, including system automation and operational processes.
Expert-level knowledge of mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IMS.
Understanding of enterprise schedulers and batch processing systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Interpret business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
Develop and present proofs-of-concept (POCs) to demonstrate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
Oversee the testing, deployment, and monitoring of automated solutions.
Provide support during deployment and hyper care phases to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
Offer technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Establish best practices for developers.
Collaborate with project managers and product owners to estimate effort and plan project timelines.
