The Manager- BI will manage staffing strategy, ensuring team members are fully dedicated and teams remain long-lived. They conduct performance reviews, align goals, and plan careers by integrating inputs from multiple sources, delivering feedback with minimal oversight. In collaboration with relevant HR partners, they help attract and acquire new talent, while also managing labor and technical vendors where appropriate. Using data, they assess, develop, and deploy talent capabilities, maintain familiarity with the specific work of team members, and ensure adherence to job family standards across teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Excellent understanding of databases and how partitioning, pruning, clustering, etc works.
- Experience in Tableau will be mandatory.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: planning, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Occasionally work with C# for specific project needs.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, bringing innovative solutions to the team.
- Perform peer code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote knowledge sharing.
Ensures teams have the capabilities required to meet business objectives and focuses on delivering short-term outputs while maintaining effective integration with other work areas. Provides input into workforce planning and recruitment activities, executes job family processes, and contributes to procedure development. Applies policies and procedures to complete tasks of moderate scope and complexity, determining the appropriate course of action. Enables, cultivates, and reinforces the organizational culture model across at least one domain.
