We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analys to drive product delivery and enhance user experience by converting business opportunities into actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with end users, understanding their needs and how they interact with our systems, while leveraging business architecture competencies such as business modelling, strategy development, value stream mapping, and system thinking.
This role will act as a crucial bridge between business strategy and product delivery, ensuring that solutions align with the organization’s strategic goals and improve the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with end users: Collaborate with end users to understand their challenges, gather insights on system usage, and identify opportunities to enhance user experience.
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Translate end-user needs into detailed business requirements that drive system improvements, with a focus on improving functionality, efficiency, and user satisfaction
- Product Delivery: Collaborate with cross functional teams including product managers, developers and UX/UI designers to ensure that requirements are effectively translated into successful product features and solutions.
- Business Strategy Alignment: Ensure that business requirements align with the company’s broader strategic goals and initiatives by developing and maintaining roadmaps for product delivery
- Design Thinking & System Thinking: Use design thinking principles to innovate solutions that meet user needs and system thinking to ensure that improvements fit seamlessly within the existing ecosystem
- Act as Product Owner: In collaboration with the Business owners, act as a product owner for specific initiatives, driving the prioritization and delivery of features and improvements
- Road mapping: Develop and maintain roadmaps for product enhancements and system improvements, aligning them with business objectives and timelines
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas of improvement in business processes and systems, driving enhancements that benefit both end users and the overall organization
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
- Experience: 12+ years of experience with 5+ in business analysis, or a product ownership
- Technical skills: Hands on experience with agile methodologies, experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence and experience with business modelling software/tools is a plus
