• Major responsibilities:
• Repair ownership: Take complete ownership of repair and overhauling of BCP and other pump motors.
• Order intake & sales: Drive order intake and sales for the electrical service business.
• Techno-commercial support: Assist the sales team in preparing techno-commercial offers.
• Customer engagement: Approach and visit customers with BCPs and submersible pumps, in coordination with Zonal Sales Teams, to generate enquiries.
• Enquiry conversion: Follow up with BO/ZO/Customers to convert enquiries into purchase orders.
• Vendor development: Identify and develop local vendors as alternatives for imported spares.
• Spare localisation: Lead localisation of LUV spares in collaboration with the PMPS department.
• Inspection & documentation: Prepare inspection reports, sketches, spares lists, and Bills of Material after dismantling pumps.
• Engineering documents: Prepare engineering documents such as winding schemes through reverse calculation.
• Project coordination: Coordinate with internal departments (including KSB Germany, KSB Tech) and external suppliers for project execution.
• Motor testing: Oversee repairs, rewinding, and conduct tests on motors under repair.
• Service support: Provide support to Service Engineers and attend customer sites for BCP pump motors.
• Technical correspondence: Handle technical correspondence with KSB offices and customers.
• Database creation: Build and maintain a technical database for BCP pumps (both repaired and running at site, KSB & non-KSB).

• Arrange meetings as per the department guidelines.
• Discuss with Product Management, KSB Group companies on technical matters whenever required.
• Visits to customer sites.
• Supporting Repairs team during BCP jobs.

B. Independence of operation
Independent working with the available Technical data/documents and set guidelines.
• Technical decisions in consultation with Departmental Head.
C. Physical effort
• Most of the time sedentary work.
• 25-30% business travel for customer support, Sales and service support.
D. Work conditions
• Mostly shop floor and desk job with moderate traveling.

Formal education: Electrical Engineering
Professional experience:
In years: 10-12 Years

1. Product and application knowledge of Submersible pump motor, Boiler Circulation Pump is preferred.
