- Leading and managing a team of mid-market account executives.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives to penetrate and expand market share in the Asia focused mid-market segment.
- Elevating the Atlassian brand in India through executive engagement and thought leadership at Atlassian hosted and industry events, and developing your team to do the same.
- Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Managing key client relationships and participating in high-level negotiations and discussions as needed.
- Providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to the sales team to help them develop their skills and achieve their individual targets.
- Setting performance goals and metrics for the sales team and monitoring their progress towards meeting these goals.
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new members of the sales team as needed to support business growth objectives.
- Collaborating with internal teams, Channel Partners, Product Specialists, Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to streamline sales processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to the sales team to drive continuous improvement.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the mid-market segment
- Experience in Sales as an Individual Contributor (Account Executive or similar) and a manager with experience working with customers and teams in India.
- Experience building a sales strategy for multiple countries/regions taking in to consideration the variation in economic factors
- Understanding the cultural nuances and sensitivities of the APAC region to ensure smooth management of your direct team, cross-functional stake-holders, customers and partners.
- Knowledge of the Atlassian solution landscape and how it applies in India due to regulatory, data compliance, language, and ways of working factors
- Strong track record of success: hitting target and pipeline generation goals.
- Knowledge of and ability to coach on Solution sales and value selling
- Experience using CRM, Pipeline Management, and Analytic tools
- Motivated and inspired to coach, enable, and mentor selling professionals
- You are someone who wants to challenge the traditional Sales Model and optimise sales processes.
- You love working in a fast-paced international environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and love sharing your findings with your team
- Experience in Sales as an Individual Contributor (Account Executive or similar) and a manager with experience working with customers and teams in India.
