About the Role:
As a Manager, Software Test Automation Engineering, you will be accountable for the overall performance and results of your test automation team. Your primary role will involve managing and coordinating test automation projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and implementing robust automation strategies. By driving quality assurance initiatives, you'll contribute to the delivery of high-performing software solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee planning and execution of test automation projects.
• Develop and implement robust test automation strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of test automation professionals.
• Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and address testing requirements.
• Define key metrics for test automation and provide regular reporting on progress.
• Oversee defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate test automation tools.
• Manage budgets related to test automation projects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in test automation processes.
Proficiency with JavaScript, Playwright, and Cucumber or similar framework
• Proficiency with API testing
• Understanding of agentic AI agent testing
• Experience with autonomous testing tools or ability to quickly learn to implement AI tools in QA automation
• Knowledge of SAFe framework
• Experience with Oracle or similar relational database and knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong interpersonal skills

Skills:
• Automation Frameworks: Extensive knowledge of various automation frameworks.
• Project Management: Proficient in project management practices and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Metrics Analysis: Ability to define and analyze test automation metrics.
• Stakeholder Communication: Strong skills in engaging and communicating with stakeholders.
• Mentorship: Skills in mentoring and developing team members.
• Tool Evaluation: Ability to assess and select appropriate test automation tools.
• Budgeting: Fundamental understanding of budget management.
