About the role and what you'll be doing:
This role is for an experienced and motivated technical leader who possesses both mainframe modernization technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. Successful managers help our clients take on their biggest problems with creative, business-focused technology solutions. In this role, you be accountable for the day-to-day management and leadership of the mainframe modernization technology consultants responsible for delivering a quality product to the client on schedule. Ensono company, migrates legacy applications to modern platforms, such as Java Spring and C# .NET, using automated tools.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary lead for the Consulting resources, practices and collateral
- Ensuring that best practice for the technical consulting discipline is adhered to
- Liaising with project teams and clients during initiation and other key stages of a project, advising how to apply best practice and how to engage with the client.
- Identifying process improvements, training needs and practice initiatives to assist in implementation and management
- Ability to lead technology or business scoping or strategy sessions with our clients
- Support client facing solution discussions, presentations, and sales efforts
- Providing consultation
- Ensure that problems are appropriately analyzed, and code corrections and improvements properly implemented for escalations
- Applying Java or C# coding skills in an Eclipse or Visual Studio environment

Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Mainframe Application Development
- Experience with the following legacy languages or databases – Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IDEAL and Datacom
- 3-5 years working in an IT Professional Services or consulting organization
- 3-5 years of direct people management leading a team of consultants
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Client focused and results driven
- Experience in software testing and debugging
- Problem solving, communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in mentoring junior colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of mainframe modernization experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience with -
- Object-oriented programming in Java, C# or similar languages
- Eclipse or Visual Studio
- Spring or .NET
- Relational Databases
Shift Timings: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
