Job Title: Manager of UI Development
Location: Bengaluru
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UI Development Manager with deep expertise in React and a passion for mentoring and team leadership. This role will help lead a team of front-end developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-centric web applications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical capabilities with a collaborative leadership style, fostering growth and innovation within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead and manage a team of UI developers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
- Help drive the design and implementation of modern, responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Help establish and enforce best practices in front-end architecture, coding standards, testing, and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical workshops to elevate team skills.
- Champion accessibility, usability, and responsive design principles.
- Help manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery milestones.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Expert-level proficiency in React and the general React ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern build tools (Webpack, etc.).
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Working experience with WCAG 2.0-WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA success criteria.
- Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
