As a Liquidity Operations Specialist within Liquidity Operations in Commercial Investment Banking, you support day-to-day processing across liquidity products including cash concentration, notional pooling, and money market mutual funds.
You maintain accurate static data, monitor sweeps, perform account reconciliations, and manage client queries with a focus on timeliness and quality.
You help protect operational integrity by following controls and regulatory requirements, escalating issues, and continuously improving processes while reporting to an Associate on the team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support daily liquidity operations deliverables with a high level of timeliness and accuracy
- Maintain static data to enable accurate processing across supported liquidity products
- Monitor sweeps and investigate breaks or exceptions through to resolution
- Reconcile accounts and resolve differences in line with defined controls and procedures
- Manage client queries by providing clear updates and coordinating with stakeholders as needed
- Produce operational reporting to track activity, issues, and outcomes
- Execute established processes while adhering to control and regulatory requirements
- Review processes regularly and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Track progress against manager-set goals and objectives and raise risks to delivery early
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Demonstrate 6+ months of experience in banking operations, including payments and reconciliations
- Communicate clearly in verbal and written form with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively within a team and share workload to meet deliverables
- Analyze issues and apply structured problem-solving to drive resolution
- Organize tasks to handle multiple priorities efficiently and accurately
- Adapt to shift-based coverage, including overnight shifts, based on business need
- Uphold a strong control mindset and follow defined procedures and regulatory requirements
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Apply knowledge of international payment systems, including the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, the Clearing House Interbank Payments System, and Federal Reserve payment networks
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence.
