Job Overview
The Marketing Strategy and Operations team at Coursera partners with all areas of the marketing organization and the enterprise sales team to drive revenue, design and execute marketing strategies, and lead internal processes to enhance productivity, leverage, and efficiency. Marketing Operations Process Manager is pivotal in reviewing, auditing, and improving existing marketing and cross-functional processes. The successful candidate will build new processes where required, ensuring streamlined workflows that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities:Process Review & Audit
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of current marketing and cross-functional processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop recommendations for enhancing existing workflows.
Process Development & Implementation
- Design and build new processes where required to support marketing operations.
- Document and communicate new procedures clearly to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of new processes.
Data Flow Management
- Understand and manage the interoperability of marketing data, tools, and support functions.
- Ensure data flows seamlessly across platforms and teams to support marketing objectives.
Impact Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and track the impact of business processes.
- Analyze process steps to measure time and effort involved.
- Continuously improve processes to reduce time and effort through automation and AI-supported workflows and systems.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a strong communicator and collaborator within the marketing team and with other departments.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between departments to promote a cohesive workflow.
- Provide training and support to team members as needed.
- 4-8 years of proven experience in marketing operations, business process management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of marketing data flows and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with automation and AI tools for workflow optimization.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
