Join our dynamic trading floor environment, where you'll play a crucial role in servicing institutional accounts and making markets in the Indian Rates products market. Be part of a team that values innovation and client solutions.
As a Vice President in the CEM Trading team, you will service institutional accounts, manage risk, liquidity, and exposure, and drive all aspects of the trading desk, including pre-trade analysis, trade execution, and optimal risk management for large trades. Collaborate with internal groups to deliver innovative solutions and new products. This role is situated within the front office, working in a dynamic trading floor environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to day-to-day client requests and needs.
- Understand market drivers, market moves, and cross-asset implications.
- Drive desk activities independently to meet revenue targets.
- Keep all relevant parties informed of key business developments.
- Balance revenue generation with building a client franchise.
- Follow firm's risk management policies and regulatory rules.
- Train and develop junior team members; lead people initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
- Represent the local entity in governance forums.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proficient in fundamental and technical aspects of traded products.
- Demonstrable proficiency with market and product terminology.
- Understands risk types and management strategies.
- Experience in client management and identifying market opportunities.
- Thrives under competitive pressures, focused on client needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable interacting with senior business clients and management.
- Self-directed, motivated, with independent revenue generation record.
- Knowledgeable in local regulatory landscape for government bonds.

- Experience in training and mentoring junior team members.
- Ability to lead initiatives and represent the entity in forums.
- Familiarity with cross-asset implications and innovative solutions.
