We are looking for a Microsoft Technical Manager with hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies to lead the planning, execution and delivery of software development projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid technical background in the Microsoft ecosystem and a proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of technical projects from initiation through delivery and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, business analysts and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Manage scope, schedule, resources, risks and communication plans.
- Utilize Agile/DevOps methodologies to manage project delivery and continuous integration/deployment.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensure alignment with business objectives, and manage expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Track project progress and provide timely reports to senior management and clients.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives and daily stand-ups.
- Coordinate with vendors or external teams when necessary.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Software Engineer in Microsoft Technology stack.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Manager or related position in software development.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack, including:
- .NET / .NET Core
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC / Web API
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Azure Cloud Services
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
- SharePoint / Microsoft 365 (nice to have)
- Experience with Agile, Scrum or SAFe project management methodologies.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or a large, complex program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 (Nice to have)
- Scrum Master or SAFe certification (Nice to have)
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Power Platform App Maker).
