We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid/Senior BI Developer to join our team. The BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions.
The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translating those needs into actionable insights. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
✅ Responsibilities:
✔️ Requirements: Collaborate with Data POs to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
✔️ Development: Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI).
✔️ Modelling: Develop and maintain complex data models, catering for generic BI reporting requirements
✔️ Data Security: Implement row or user based security models
✔️ Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data through regular validation checks and audits.
✔️ Ad-Hoc Reporting: Create ad-hoc reports based on specific business needs.
✔️ Technical Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI tools and reports, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
✔️ System Performance: Monitor the performance of BI systems and reports, ensuring they meet the required standards and performance metrics.
✔️ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, including technical specifications, data models, dashboards.
✅ Requirements:
✔️ 3+ years experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
✔️ Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔️ Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
