The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Execute automated test scripts to identify and document software defects.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and design test strategies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the integrity of the software after changes.
- Create and manage test data and environments for automated testing.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and issues.
- Continuously improve the automation framework and processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for quality.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and tools like Cucumber.
- Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
