Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft-based APIs for EDI
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to define EDI integration requirements.
- Develop API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and DataWeave.
- Implement best practices for API development, security, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues, ensuring smooth data flow. Respond to user issues in a timely manner to support issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Deploy and manage MuleSoft applications on CloudHub and Anypoint Partner Manager
- Develop reusable components and best practices for MuleSoft integration development.
- Coordinate with change management team members to support MuleSoft deployments.
- Attend meetings with other IT analysts to gather requirements for new EDI Implementations or modifications to Existing one.
- Document EDI requirements, technical specifications, and designs.
- Conduct end-user testing upon completion of implementation.
- Responsible for Partner Manager configurations and Partner EDI set ups, programming, testing, implementing, and maintaining a broad range of EDI transactions and standards to support our BUs and external partners.
- Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft features and industry trends to enhance EDI solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Anypoint Partner Manager, RAML, RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and EDI.
- Knowledge of EDI standards and their common transactions.
- Proficient in basic EDI transactions functional aspects
- Proficiency in DataWeave.
- Experience with Mule 4, CloudHub 2.0.
- Familiarity with GitHub.
- Experience in error handling, logging, and monitoring MuleSoft EDI applications.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Oracle), JSON, and JAVA.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- MuleSoft Certification (MuleSoft Developer – Level 1 or higher) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API lifecycle management and API governance.
- Knowledge/experience with multiple channels and protocols of EDI transactions distribution (AS2, HTTP, SFTP, VAN).
- AS2 and SFTP configuration and management.
