Your key responsibilities

• Software Development using .Net and Python Technology
• Understand the problem statement and provide the solution using available technology options.
• Supports the implementation of common architecture and strategies and applies Bank wide standards and best practices.
• Supports the implementation of optimum architectures of technology solutions and drives analysts, designers, and engineers in technology teams to design, build, test and deliver high quality software solutions to meet business needs.
• Completes and elaborates complex functional designs in accordance with the defined principles, blueprints, standards, patterns, etc.
• Designs and conceptualizes new complex business solution options with proof-of-concepts and articulates identified impacts and risks.
• Works with engineers, to priorities, trouble shoot and resolve reported bugs / issues / CRs (change requests) on applications.
• Undertaking peer reviews and reviewing solution designs and architectures, taking into consideration specific business, usability and functional constraints, requirements and dependencies.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• 5 to 7 years of experience Software Development using .Net and Python Technologies
• Active participation in the design of their solution components with business, with a solution mindset
• Investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall functional solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.
• Advising businesses on investing in new technologies/solutions in alignment to the bank’s architecture blueprint
• Managing end to end delivery of realizing the business benefit
• Actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of components by applying the learning from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and championing a 'DevOps' mind-set
• Serves as a functional specialist and as the day-to-day leader of work efforts in this area within a regulatory reporting value stream(s)

Your skills and experience

• IT experience in managing teams of complex & sizeable global IT change projects under varying project/programme environments (waterfall, scrum/agile) and tight timelines.

• .Net Skills
  • Strong working Experience in .Net Core 8 / 10, C#, Blazor Client WASM, Blazor Office 365 integration, IIS, CSS, LINQ, ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, REST API, Web Form, Razor, Entity Framework Core, SAP HANA
  • AI supported engineering with CoPilot, Gemini

• Python Skills
  • Experience in Python fundamentals, libraries, and data structures e.g. pandas, numpy, plotly, matplotlib, dash, flask, fastcgi, lists, dicts, sets, tuples etc
  • Familiarity with file handling (CSV, JSON, Parquet, etc.)
  • Understanding of classes, modules, packages, and virtual environments
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, memory management, logging and monitoring

• Analytics and Generative AI/LLM Skills
  • Hands-on experience with developing chat application using any LLMs (e.g. Gemini, GPT, open-source models)
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques
  • Strong Reporting and analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience with development of application using NLP libraries (e.g. spacy, rapidfuzz, scikit learn
  • Familiarity with developing RAG based applications and working experience with embeddings and semantic search
  • Familiarity with ML-Ops

• Backend & Integration Skills
  • Experience building REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Working with databases (SQL / NoSQL desirable)
• Should be able to use Github Copilot and good in prompting for fast development
• Good experience in Data Structure, List, Dictionary
• Expert in Visual Studio 2022 / Visual Studio Code
• Expert in code debugging to identify and fix the bug
• Hands on experience to write complex programs
• Ability to use tools like Beyond Compare, Postman/Bruno,
• Ability to create design diagram using Visio
• Knowledge of Branching Strategy and Bitbucket/Github
• Ability to learn a new technology in quick time.
• Fluent in English (written/verbal).
• Experience to understand business requirements and design & development the solution
• Excellent communication and documentation / presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organisations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.

Preferrable if you have experience on some of the below as well

• SAP ABAP Development
• CI/CD pipeline setup using Team City
• PowerShell scripting for automation
• Knowledge of DevOps

Education/Certification

• Degree from an accredited college or university with a preference for Computer Science (or IT related).
