Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 3+ years of experience supporting and monitoring network systems, servers, or storage inan enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of network monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, WMI, syslog) and expertise in Microsoft server operating systems and Cisconetwork devices.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, networking concepts, event correlation, and analysis, with the ability to absorb technical information quickly.
Experience with security gateways, VPNs, and networking/router certifications, with prior experience in data center/cloud environments preferred.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, especially in high-stress situations when interacting with customers and technicalpersonnel.
Ability to support 24/7 operational environments, perform basic system tasks, and assist multiple technical teams with varying shift schedules.
Preferences:
Basic Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications (CCNA, MCITP), and experience monitoring VMware clusters in high-availability environments.
Proficient in using various monitoring and ticket management tools, with experience in providing remote support using virtual desktop tools
