The Team:

The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals, who build, support, and protect the applications that operate our network.  The technology landscape includes high-performance, high-volume applications as well as compute intensive applications, leveraging contemporary microservices, cloud-based architectures

What’s in it for you:

We are looking for self-driven individuals with great problem solving and analytical skills to fill an Associate position within the Operations group.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Client due diligence support for all services supported within Osttra. The position requires Knowledge in AML KYC and PEP sanction screening knowledge, this role presents an excellent opportunity to be part of an Financial crime team based out of India, collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions globally, with a strong focus on delivering value through self-service.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as a Manager of KYC/AML vertical and managing the team of 8-15 resources
  • Lead daily AML/KYC operations, manage risks, and ensure compliance
  • Support KPI/KRI report development and manage training needs for team effectiveness
  • Set quality standards, manage escalations
  • Ensure high productivity and quality standards are maintained within the team
  • Act as a relationship point for client and internal business partners
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders like sales, account management, Legal & Compliance team and work on AML framework to make changes as per new regulations
  • Adhering to the organization’s internal and regulatory compliance for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know your Customer (KYC) standards
  • Working on tools like World Check one, Bankers Almanac, Salesforce to complete the KYC requests on a timely basis

What We’re Looking For:

Education & experience

  • University graduate or equivalent
  • 10+ years in financial institutions KYC/AML Operations
  • Good understanding of capital markets products
  • Experience in direct customer facing role is preferred.
  • 5+ years in management roles

Management requirements

The role will require day to day management of staff within the KYC operations team. As such previous management experience is essential.

Key Skills

KYC onboarding, ongoing due diligence, remediation, AML screening, Sanctions

screening, Financial crime compliance, using tools such as Dow Jones, World Check 1, Lexis Nexis, Banker’s Almanac, Fenergo etc.
