Operations Data Science Senior Associate
Job Overview:
The Operations Data Science Senior Associate plays a pivotal role in driving data-powered decision-making across Operations, Recruiting, Sales, Training, and Client Pipelines. This role is responsible for leading complex data analysis, building high-impact dashboards and performance metrics, improving data governance, and delivering actionable insights that directly influence operational strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and various operational units to ensure data accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and enhance organizational performance.
This role requires advanced analytical capability, strong operational understanding, and the ability to transform raw data into strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced Data Management & Operational Reporting
- Lead the collection, validation, and reporting of key operational, recruiting, training, and productivity data.
- Oversee end-to-end reporting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business requirements.
- Develop automated reporting pipelines where possible to optimize efficiency.
2. Strategic Decision Support
- Provide high-level insights and recommendations to Operations and Recruiting leadership, using analytical findings to guide strategic and tactical decisions.
- Identify trends, risks, gaps, and performance opportunities through deep-dive data analysis.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership discussions.
3. Metrics Creation, KPI Ownership & Dashboard Development
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive dashboards that track performance, quality, capacity, and productivity across operational teams.
- Own the development of KPIs for Operations and Recruiting, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and continuous refinement as business needs evolve.
- Utilize Power BI, Excel, and other analytics platforms to visualize data in intuitive and actionable formats.
4. Data Governance, Normalization & Quality Assurance
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and normalization across all systems, including CRMs, HRIS, LMS, ATS, and internal operational tools.
- Establish and enforce data validation standards and best practices.
- Conduct periodic audits and troubleshoot discrepancies in coordination with system owners.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Optimization
- Work closely with Research, Training, Recruiting, Operations, and Client Success teams to integrate data, streamline processes, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Partner with operations and system administrators to enhance data collection workflows, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Support special projects requiring data modeling, forecasting, manpower planning, or performance analytics.
6. Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor junior associates or operations staff on data literacy, reporting frameworks, and analytics tools.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, SOPs, and data-driven operational strategies.
