We’re looking for Operations Supervisor for Ivory Coast, to lead a team that handles onsite production activities to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and performance in line with OEM recommendations, SSO and client load demands.
The role is aimed to have a person responsible for supervision, analysis of all site load control systems via SCADA and allocation of daily tasks in conjunction with Maintenance Teams to support Operations Managers in driving continued performance improvement and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do:
- Ensure all QHSE, policies and procedures are followed on sites (LOTO, ESR, Lifting, Tool Calibration, spill prevention, Technician’s PPE, …) Ensure proper daily assignment of Production Team as per monthly shift planning
- Tight follow up on client load demands to meet the expectations, Attend to meeting with customer operations teams, where required.
- Provide advance notification to Production Superintendent / Operations Manager when availability will not satisfy customer demand, Monitor and act on site/asset alarms to support any incident resolution.
- Ensure oil samples are analysed and proper actions taken by Maintenance Team where required. Perform first line analysis on asset performance, and proper actions taken where required to maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Work closely with Maintenance Leads to optimise asset availability, condition, performance, and manpower allocation. Maintain accurate production data in Production folders
- Initiate and/or attend Kaizen or any Continuous Improvement events to deeply understand root cause analysis. Have an accurate follow up of oil and coolant consumption and raise immediately any abnormality for action.
Other responsibilities:
- Discuss and set annual objectives for direct reports. Conduct performance appraisal, follow-up development and training of direct reports.
- Work with superintendents on succession planning for the Project.
- Assist in the recruitment of local staff where applicable. Initiate disciplinary procedures where required.
- Manage continuous improvement through TPM/CI
- Provide support to the rest of the team whenever required.
- Complete the assigned training for the role.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on a Power Project environment or in a similar role
- Ability to read single line and electrical diagrams, Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), ability to read mechanical drawings and analyse Performance data and Able to understand the operations of plant equipment’s.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams & Outlook essential), ability to work in a cohesive team and strong knowledge of equipment safe operating procedures
- Good oral and written communication skills (English / French).
- Ability to withstand pressure and Strong Leadership skills
- Well organized, able to handle multi tasks in a controlled manner, analytical thinking with attention to detail and good interpersonal and personnel development skills
