ProArch, a leading technology company, is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As an Oracle DBA at ProArch, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our Oracle databases. You will work closely with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of our database systems and provide support for application development and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases across multiple environments.
- Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator working on large to very large databases and in 24*7 systems.
- Sense of Database Architecture
- Migrating databases across servers and platforms
- Expertise in Performance tuning, Database tuning, troubleshooting and database upgrades or Shell Scripting.
- Performs installations, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring and configuration.
- Monitors and ensures the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Oracle customer production databases, ensuring that the databases are available, performing properly and safe.
- Good in Backup and Recovery skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture.
- Experience in managing Multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB
- Proficiency in Oracle 19c
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization and patching
- Must have worked into Big File Table spaces
- Knowledge of any scripting - Shell, Python or Bash
- Experience with backup and recovery operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Golden Gate is an added advantage

- Shift timings 6PM to 3 AM , need to be available for extended work hours and stretch during weekends.
