In This Role
In this role, you will build and manage a new intake and triage process for employee grievances that supports a high-visibility leadership initiative. You’ll design the workflow, set it up in Azure DevOps, log and track submissions, and ensure each case is routed to the right stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner. You’ll also create and maintain SOPs, FAQs, and documentation so the process is clear, repeatable, and scalable.
Day to day, you’ll work with partners across HR, legal, compliance, and operations to support human-rights-related programs and responsible business practices. You’ll handle confidential and sensitive information, respond to incoming communications professionally, and provide clear status updates and reports. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys process design, structured workflows, and stakeholder coordination, and wants to contribute to programs that protect people’s rights and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Design, document, and continuously refine the intake and triage process for employee grievance submissions.
Log, track, and manage grievance cases using Azure DevOps (ADO) work items, boards, and dashboards.
Triage incoming communications, prioritize and route them to the appropriate stakeholders, and respond using approved templates where applicable.
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and build a living FAQ knowledge base for the grievance process.
Support broader human rights / responsible business practices programs and projects as needed.
Safeguard confidential and sensitive information, ensuring it is handled according to organizational standards and legal/compliance expectations.
Prepare and present status updates, reports, and findings to stakeholders in a clear and professional way.
Coordinate project activities, making detailed plans to achieve goals and integrating both technical and non-technical workstreams.
Set up and configure Azure DevOps projects, including work item types, boards, queries, repositories, and dashboards for team collaboration and visibility.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, legal, compliance, and operations partners to resolve issues and improve processes.
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in project management, program coordination, operations, or similar roles.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Hands-on experience (~2+ years) working with Azure DevOps (ADO) to support workflows, tracking, and reporting (not necessarily at an engineering level).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote; Visio/Project a plus) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Demonstrated ability to triage, prioritize, and respond appropriately to sensitive communications.
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and move work forward with limited supervision.
Basic understanding of business and management principles, such as planning, resource allocation, and process improvement.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience working in human rights, responsible business practices, ethics & compliance, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
Prior experience designing or supporting intake / case management / ticketing / grievance processes.
Familiarity with enterprise legal, HR, or compliance environments.
Experience creating or maintaining knowledge bases, SOP libraries, and FAQs for internal stakeholders.
Any project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) is beneficial but not required.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $ 80,000 to 85,000 USD annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
