This is new position in APAC payroll team to cover the increasing payroll tasks due to the highly growth of our business and employees in India.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities

Coordinate payroll processing for all locations in India (Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore and Chennai. Currently):

  • Review and consolidate all payroll movements provided by HR team, Sales compensation team, Equity team and any other intra-company departments, such as new hires and termination movements, salary adjustment, variable payment, commission, RSU vesting report, etc.
  • Review and verify payroll reports from vendors to ensure data are correct.
  • Liaise with Finance team, payroll vendor to complete all statutory contributions payment and filing within the stipulated deadlines, such as TDS, PF, PT, ESIC, etc.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance team and vendors on flexi benefits payment, such as food coupon and NPS contributions, etc.
  • Prepare privilege leave accrual, gratuity accrual and review salary journal entries prepared by vendors.
  • Assist payroll manager to collect and maintain documentation and data / report for enrolling new hires to all statutory schemes, and follow up the account
  • Assist payroll manager on the process of resigned employees’ final settlement, such as collection of leave encash declaration, gratuity payment, etc.
  • Assist payroll manager to handle employee’s inquiries on payroll matters
  • Participate in on-going payroll projects as needed
  • Cross-train as back-up for APAC payroll for various countries

Requirements

  • Degree in Human resource management or other equivalent Human resource management qualification.
  • Skilled with MS, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, especially at data processing by Excel functions.
  • Good ability to prioritize task and manage resources effectively.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • With passion, proactive and willing to learn in payroll.
  • Payroll processing experience is preferred.
