As a Payroll Executive, you will play a vital role in our organization's payroll management. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and execute payroll processes for our international employees across the US, Mexico, and Colombia. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate and timely payroll operations while ensuring compliance with regional regulations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the HR team, providing expert guidance and support on payroll-related matters and also respond to employees for their queries. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records. Your expertise will contribute to a smooth and efficient payroll system, enhancing our overall employee experience.
Responsibilities- Process and manage payroll for employees in the US, Mexico, and Colombia, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the HR team, offering payroll expertise and support.
- Stay updated on and ensure compliance with regional payroll regulations and laws.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, implementing efficient payroll systems and tools.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll data and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle employee reimbursements and expense management, processing claims promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain secure payroll records and documentation, adhering to data privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Provide payroll reports and analytics to the management team, offering valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Resolve payroll-related queries and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in payroll management to continuously enhance our processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a strong foundation in payroll management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a multinational or global environment.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing and compliance regulations for the US, Mexico, and Colombia.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive payroll data and information.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office applications, with a willingness to learn new tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees, HR, and other stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify process improvements and drive automation.
- Willingness to stay updated on changing payroll laws and regulations, ensuring our processes remain compliant.
