We are seeking an experienced PlantPAx Ignition Engineer to design, program, test, and support industrial control systems in regulated environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise with Rockwell Automation platforms, Ignition SCADA, and networked control systems, with a working understanding of biopharmaceutical, GMP, and building management systems.
You will:
- Independently program and configure Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs, including related I/O systems
- Develop, configure, and maintain Rockwell PlantPAx 4.x and 5.x control modules and equipment modules
- Independently program Ignition 8.x, including:
- Alarming
- Reporting
- Historian modules
- Design, develop, and test Ignition Perspective HMI graphics
- Develop and execute test forms, including FAT/SAT and commissioning documentation
- Integrate vendor-provided equipment and devices using:
- Ethernet/IP
- BACnet IP
- Modbus TCP/IP
- Support and apply control system network topology best practices
- Interface with process, facilities, and validation teams to support compliant system delivery

You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on industrial automation or controls engineering experience
- Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP processes
- Experience working independently in automation system design and implementation
- Familiarity with regulated environments and documentation-driven projects
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
