The Opportunity
As our Data Engineering Engineer IV for the Advanced Predictive Maintenance software your objectives will be to support the following:
  • Asset agent development, modelling, and deployment in MTELL Software
  • Design, create and maintain visualization dashboards using Aspen Dashboarding tools and/or Microsoft Power BI
  • Support MTELL system administration and configuration, end user support, and incident handling
  • Other duties as assigned related to the software.

Responsibilities
  • Lead visualization dashboard design and development.
  • Support agent development and model build in Aspen MTELL software.
  • Support the daily operations of Aspen Mtell across the entire manufacturing portfolio and network on technical topics and Incidents.
  • Participate in the ongoing exchange of the global core team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Aspen Mtell tool.
  • Coordinate required interfaces, integration and configurations activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Follow company policies, procedures and ensures documentation according to the Takeda Software Development Life Cycle standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Takeda Policies and Guidelines
  • Participate in the administration of the computerized system, ensure deployment of patches and Version upgrades.
  • Implement visualization dashboard for agent reporting.
  • Integrate systems and databases, as needed.
  • Innovation and continuous improvement.

Technical/Functional Expertise
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends that can inform business decisions and drive innovation
  • Machine learning, and programming skills to extract useful information from large datasets, develop models and algorithms, and make data-driven decisions that enhance business performance.
  • Demonstrates advanced infrastructure tooling and techniques to others across the rest of IT.
  • Demonstrated in depth knowledge of Cloud Platform operations.

Leadership
  • Communicate planned or unplanned downtimes, release notes, ad-hoc information to local and global APMS community.

Decision-making and Autonomy
  • Ability to drive our third-party support teams to maintain a stable analytics ecosystem. It will require the need to make tactical decision when needed to our operational environment.

Interaction
  • Interact with across functional team members, including Engineering, IT Architecture, Functional Leads, Business Partners, Product Owners, and others.
  • Align with Enterprise Architecture, Platform Teams, Functional Data Teams and Quality Teams to make sure Engineering IT services co-exist with other best practices and deployments.

Innovation
  • Ability to understand highly complex problems and be able to apply modern technology patterns to them.
  • Ability to iterate and innovate as they apply modern product techniques while fostering an environment that encourages applied innovation.

Complexity
  • Ability to have an agile time-based delivery team operate within a traditional project and waterfall-based funding and approval cycles.
  • Drive complex deployments from Design to implementation and finally deployment.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field with experience in computerized systems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Understand and follows agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • System administration experience, including installation, upgrade of landscapes.
  • Change and Release management process expertise
  • Ability to utilize data collection, analysis, maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact-based decisions.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work within a team setting
  • Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to set priorities as well as strong technical / analytical skill (verbal/written/listening)
  • Experience with working with multiple teams across the organization
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
  • Experience with Aspen MTELL Software, Aspen dashboarding tools, Microsoft Power BI is a plus
