As a Principal Agile Program Manager the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs as well as extensive experience using exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of stakeholder management and risk mitigation. They should be ready to collaborate with senior leadership, and ensure the delivery of key initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. They should be comfortable with Enterprise Agile Processes and frameworks such as Scrum at Scale and concepts relating to Agile Transformation of organizations.
You will have an opportunity to:
Agile Program Leadership:
•
Lead and manage end-to-end program delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and organizational priorities.
•
Lead the implementation and scaling of Agile frameworks across the enterprise to optimize program delivery and value realization.
•
Oversee multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring processes are applied consistently across the organization while tailoring them to fit business needs and technology requirements.
•
Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for Agile adoption at scale, identifying key milestones, risks, and dependencies in alignment with business priorities.
•
Facilitate the adoption of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) across the organization, driving transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, delivery speed, and business outcomes.
•
Continuously evaluate and improve program management processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Be a key contributor back to the organization PMO.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•
Work closely with project managers, product managers, engineering teams, marketing, and other departments to ensure the smooth execution of program milestones and ensure that initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic vision.
•
Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders such as product owners, business analysts, engineers, and other functional areas.
•
Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing transparency around program progress, timelines, budgets, and risks, and ensuring that feedback is incorporated into the process.
Agile Coaching and Mentorship:
•
Provide coaching and mentorship to teams and leaders in adopting Agile methodologies, ensuring that all levels of the organization are aligned and empowered.
•
Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and the use of Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to drive data-informed decision-making.
•
Support Scrum Masters and Product Owners in their roles, providing guidance and troubleshooting to address Agile challenges at scale.
Risk and Issue Management:
•
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of technology and Agile programs, focusing on dependencies, resource constraints, and external factors.
•
Lead the resolution of program issues through collaborative problem-solving, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and business operations.
Program Governance & Reporting:
•
Define program governance structures to ensure alignment, decision-making, and oversight across all enterprise initiatives.
•
Establish and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), program timelines, and deliverables to senior leadership and stakeholders.
•
Report on program health, risks, and status to executive leadership, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making at all levels.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
•
Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new processes, technologies, and Agile frameworks across the organization.
•
Engage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear and consistent communication, and addressing concerns or resistance to change.
What we’re looking for:
•
10+ years of experience in program management with a focus on Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), large-scale technology initiatives, and enterprise transformation.
•
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
•
Proven track record of managing enterprise-wide technology solutions, such as ERP implementations, digital transformations, cloud migrations, or other large projects.
•
Hands-on experience scaling Agile practices in an enterprise environment, driving Agile transformation from the ground up, and supporting large Agile teams across diverse functions.
•
Experience working with senior leadership and managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver business-critical programs.
•
Expertise in Agile frameworks and experience in adapting these methodologies to the needs of large organizations.
•
Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies, cloud platforms, and system integration best practices.
•
Experience in implementing and driving technology strategies that deliver measurable results, improve customer experiences, and enable business growth.
•
Exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and enabling teams to reach their full potential.
•
Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to manage complex projects and navigate ambiguous situations.
•
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical concepts and Agile processes to non-technical stakeholders.
•
PMP required / PMI-ACP preferred.
•
Enterprise Agile Certifications preferred.
•
Technology certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a plus.
•
Innovative Thinker: Ability to envision and drive new approaches to technology delivery that transform the business and improve processes.
•
Agile Champion: Passionate about Agile principles and practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and scaling Agile across large organizations.

Strategic & Tactical: Ability to think strategically while also managing the day-to-day tactical execution of complex programs and projects.

Strong Influencer: Capable of building relationships and influencing decisions across senior leadership, business units, and technical teams.
•
Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, handling complexity, and navigating challenges effectively
•
