The Role:
The Data Quality Senior Manager is responsible for leading the Data Quality team to support the Data Quality and associated Analytical needs of the business. This position will work directly with the supply chain, operational and business leaders to understand their data, how it is being used in the business processes and how to best suggest and develop data quality rules to improve the integrity of the data. This includes an ability to design and develop means to track the status of data quality for attributes, across dimensions of data quality.
What You’ll Do:
Manage a team of data quality analysts to provide ongoing business priorities, tasks and goals. It will include coaching, performance feedback, career development support and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop and lead the enterprise-wide data quality strategy and roadmap.
Align data quality initiatives with business goals, regulatory requirements and feedback on how data is used by both central and federated MDM Team.
Drive the adoption of data quality best practices across system domains and departments.
Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Management departments to ensure alignment of data quality with governance and management frameworks resulting in a cohesive integration into user interfaces, security roles, analytics and accountability models.
Oversee the design, implementation and monitoring of data quality controls and metrics.
Lead Data Profiling, Cleansing and Enrichment efforts, including resolution of data quality issues and appropriate root cause analysis
Be a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data quality understanding across the organization.
Develop and maintain the Entegris Data Quality system supporting actionable intelligence for data stewards to monitor their data health by attributes as well as an ability to roll up data health statistics to senior leadership.
Works with key stakeholders to identify reporting and analytics needs and then scope and manage projects that will help them to achieve their strategic objectives.
Guide key stakeholders with options to improve their data quality with dimensions, clubbing master data and transactional to represent a way to monetize data health. This would include pros and cons analysis to ensure the best overall solution is delivered.
Researches, develops, and proposes data quality rules to meet business needs.
Continue to research and train on the latest approaches to data quality and data modeling.
Participates and leads data quality projects.
Ensure that projects are on time and budget and meet the expected objectives.
What We Seek:
Strong knowledge of data management frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical background and aptitude
Experience with ERP applications, SAP preferred.
Experience with enterprise data quality Tools (i.e., Informatica, Talend, Collibra), Informatica preferred
Informatica Certification is a Plus
Proven experience in developing Data Profiles resulting in Data Quality Rules
Experience with various analytical and reporting tools such as Power BI
Self-driven, results-oriented, able to work independently
Must be adaptable and flexible
Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with all levels of employees and work cross-functionally across the organization
Able to multi-task and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Strong oral and written communications skills and an ability to influence both up and down in the organization
Able to develop and deliver training
Ability to understand and define business requirements
Ability to travel up to 25%
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
Ten+ years in an IT, Master Data, Data Governance, or Supply Chain role
Five+ years in the manufacturing industry (High Tech / Semiconductor Preferred)
Five+ years in a Direct People Management Role, with increasing managerial experience
