Role Summary -
Design full-custom layouts for analog, mixed signal, and interface IPs including DDR, ONFI & Serdes at advanced nodes with performance and compliance standards. Lead a high-speed layout team on deep sub-micron FinFET nodes. Work closely with Design and PD teams to develop and refine layout methodology, plan integration, and address process gaps. Assign tasks, track progress, and report metrics to management. Schedule resources, mentor the team, resolve conflicts, and build a collaborative, high-impact group of top talent.
Job Requirements -
Over 15 years of full-chip layout experience across analog, digital, and mixed-signal domains; strong knowledge of floorplan, power planning, signal parasitics, matching, ESD, Latch-up and reliability.
Contribute to high-speed ASIC analog layout design and development leading to high quality IP delivery.
Highly skilled in resolving LVS, DRC, and ERC issues.
Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.
Deep understanding of analog layout fundamentals and methodology trade-offs.
Experience with SKILL, SVRF and Python scripts.
Requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed teams.
Full Chip tapeout experience with 5nm or lower technology nodes is a plus.
Diploma / B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in VLSI Design, Microelectronics, or a related field.
Prior experience applying AI/ML in EDA or design automation is a strong plus.
