How you will make an impact:
- Serve as a senior technical escalation point for cloud operations issues.
- Design and implementation of AWS infrastructure solutions, best practices for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency
- Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency using Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI, or other scripting tools
- Support day-to-day Global Cloud Operations primarily on AWS infrastructure
- Handle incident and request tickets using platforms such as ServiceNow
- Experience in managing and supporting Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and Linux/RedHat environments
- Troubleshoot and maintain core AWS services such as EC2, FSx, RDS, IAM, S3, VPC, and other related services
- Collaborate with Cloud Architecture and DevOps teams to support scalable and secure solutions
- Support DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems including AWS Route 53 and Infoblox
- Perform proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and ensure operational health of systems
- Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and support continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain and improve documentation such as technical runbooks, SOPs, and incident handling procedures
- Willingness to participate in On-Call rotations, including occasional weekend support
What you'll need (Requirements):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations\Devops or IT Infrastructure Support roles.
- Proven hands-on expertise in AWS (primary focus); Azure is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems and cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage high-pressure, critical incidents.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.
What else we look for (Preferred) :
- Demonstrated expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), with hands-on experience in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, FSx, EKS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, AWS Organizations, and Control Tower.
- Knowledge in cloud networking, including VPC design, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, DNS management using Route 53 and Infoblox and DHCP.
- Proven experience in Windows Server administration, including system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Proven experience in Linux Server administration, with the ability to manage, secure, and optimize Linux-based environments
- Skilled in Python scripting for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational tooling
- Experience in applying patch management practices for both Windows and Linux servers
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes orchestration, enabling efficient deployment and management of containerized applications
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, New Relic)
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Networking.
