Job Title: Principal Engineer - Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping end‑to‑end solutions across HR platforms, data, and AI services—ensuring they are robust, future‑ready, and aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
You will sit within the HR Technology function and work closely with Application Engineering, Platform, Data, AI, and Security teams. During initiatives, you will partner with Project Delivery squads, including Business Analysts, Technical Consultants, Engineers, and fellow Architects across platforms such as HR Core Platforms, DHP, CDAO, and AI services.
This role is accountable for solution intent and technical coherence—translating business outcomes into well‑architected, secure, and operable solutions that can be delivered incrementally and scaled safely across the enterprise.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture for HR Technology initiatives, from problem definition through to implementation and transition to run
Define target, transitional, and solution architectures aligned to enterprise strategy, HR domain roadmaps, and regulatory requirements
Design cloud‑native, event‑driven, and API‑first architectures that integrate HR platforms, data services, and AI capabilities
Embed AI‑enabled solutions (including GenAI and agentic patterns) responsibly to improve employee experience, productivity, and decision‑making
Ensure solutions meet non‑functional requirements including security, privacy, resilience, performance, observability, and cost optimisation
Partner with engineering teams to ensure architectures are pragmatic, buildable, and aligned to DevSecOps practices
Provide architectural governance through design reviews, trade‑off decisions, and technology standards
Influence stakeholders by clearly articulating architectural options, risks, and recommendations in business terms
Support delivery outcomes by unblocking teams, resolving cross‑platform dependencies, and driving architectural alignment
Essential Skills:
Minimum 12+ years of experience.
Architecture & Design-Solution architecture across distributed systems, microservices, and event‑driven platforms
Designing secure, compliant architectures for HR and people data
Experience with integration patterns, API design, and data flows across SaaS and custom platforms
Defining and governing non‑functional requirements (NFRs)
Cloud & Platforms-Deep understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS preferred) in large enterprise environments
Data, AI & GenAI-Experience designing solutions that leverage AI/ML and GenAI capabilities
Architectural patterns for RAG, agentic AI systems, and AI service orchestration
Understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, and risk controls
Engineering & Delivery Alignment-Strong appreciation of DevSecOps, shift‑left quality, and automated testing strategies
Experience collaborating with engineering teams using modern stacks (e.g. APIs, Python, .NET, JavaScript frameworks)
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting patterns
Designing for resilience, scalability, cost efficiency, and observability
Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code and platform engineering concepts
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering or B. Tech
