A Day in the LifeMedtronic is expanding their footprint for Diabetes Care with a center in Pune and as the Principal SAP Test Engineer for Digital Technology, India, this role is responsible for preparing test scripts, developing new test cases, executing scripts, and preparing test reports within Digital Technology.

As a Principal SAP Test Engineer within Digital Technology, this position requires completing all steps of the SDVLC documentation including interpretation of the functional requirements and confirming requirements with functional business analyst, write test plans, executing, and documenting of system integration testing.

Contribute to identify and implement continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value to clients

Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies

Work independently to estimate, design, and deliver solutions

Assist in unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendor

Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration.

Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department.

In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for all phases of functional and regression testing including development and execution of automated scripts.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
-
Minimum 8 -10+ years of experience in SAP testing, specifically with Material Master (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), Inventory Management (IM), Finance and Control (FI/CO).

Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure the quality of the SAP implementation and upgrades.

Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.

Proven experience in Procure to Pay (P2P) process and Order to Cash (O2C) process areas.

Create and execute automated and manual test cases as required via Microfocus ALM and creating automation test strategy, framework, and test accelerators.

Create validation and compliance documents to include test plan and test summary reports.

Validating testing for SOX & GXP compliances and FDA regulatory to include Title 21 CFR Part 11, FDA CFR Part 820.

Experience with creating automation test scripts using Selenium, Agile/Scrum, DevOps.
