Autodesk Fusion is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing to connect your entire product development process into one cloud-based platform. We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our team that we are setting up in Pune, India to contribute to Fusion Data and Process Management.
Responsibilities
Work on a small tightly integrated to build new project and data management tools for Fusion
Collaborate with other teams located around the world
Design, implement and validate the experience for new data visualization and project management tools. Be willing to learn and drive initiatives from beginning to end
Fully own the quality of work delivered, have strong sense of ownership for delivering in excellence
Learn and develop tools to drive high quality services development such as resiliency analysis, performance/scalability/stability monitor, automation test, etc.
Carry out best engineering practices into own work
Present and participate in global technical discussions
Embraces innovations in every aspect of building these capabilities
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in TypeScript and Node.js/JavaScript development
Proven experience in building scalable, high-quality web-based applications
Familiarity with React.js and visualization libraries like D3 or Reactflow and similar technologies
Strong fundamentals and hands-on project experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Technology or Science-related fields
Willingness to embrace challenges and step outside the comfort zone to grow
Strong collaboration and communication skills; a team player
Exposure to cloud project development is highly preferred
Hands on experience in C++ or Java
Working knowledge of AWS or database technologies is a plus
Exposure to best practices in scalable cloud-based development
Experience in handling end-to-end projects in a global, collaborative environment
